Horses have an amazing power to heal our emotional wounds and teach us about ourselves. Whether a horse is born in the wild or on a Texas breeding farm, they live their entire lives motivated by three factors: survival, comfort, and leadership. The foundation of HOOFBEATS FOR HEROES is based on these three factors to help our heroes and families ride home.

Red Carpet Rodeo

Red Carpet Rodeo Event - $15 per person: Join us for a special Cowgirl Glam Night Out! Our very own Ruger was in Jane Got A Gun and we will be featuring this movie at the Beltonian Theatre in Belton, Texas on April 2nd from 6 to 9 pm. Grab your favorite pair of boots and meet us on the Red Carpet to take pictures with Ruger, bid on items in our silent auction, and enjoy cocktails and food from 6-7 pm. The movie will start at 7 pm. It's going to get Western with this charitable evening out benefitting our non-profit Hoofbeats For Heroes. We will see you at the theatre!

Guided Trail Ride $30 deposit - $30: Come experience something new! We will take you on a scenic one-hour trail ride of the Texas Hill Country here at BLORA. The sites and sounds of nature are just a hoofbeat away. Come experience life in the saddle and leave with a new exciting vision of ranch life! A $30 deposit is required, and the remaining balance will be paid at the end of your ride. All deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to another ride if you reschedule prior to 48 hours before your appointment.

Couple's Ride $40 deposit - $40: Looking for that perfect date night idea! Come saddle up with us and your sweetheart! We will offer a private guided tour of our Texas Hill Country trails and create a romantic getaway for the day or evening. This is a special one-and-a-half-hour ride for two. Our sunset rides are absolutely amazing and make the perfect setting for couples. All riders must pay to hold their ride. A $40 deposit will be required. All deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to another ride if you reschedule prior to 24 hours before your appointment. Weather-related deposits are only refunded if the ride is canceled by our staff.

Birthday Party $75 deposit - $75: Our birthday parties are full of fun for the whole family, You can choose from paint the pony or having the horses decorated with the theme of the party. The party includes up to 5 horses for pony rides, a covered pavilion for the party, and on-site parking.

Equine-Assisted Therapy Military/First Responder - $25: A natural-based form of therapy using the healing power of a horse. A horse's strength, awareness, and resilience help guide us through some of life's twists and turns. We help our clients get back in the saddle of "LIFE" by providing a sense of hope while working on coping skills, developing empathy, learning about yourself, problem-solving skills, and learning how to communicate better with the help of a Horse Angel. We have worked with special needs and mental health clients of all ages. Life is about living and we want to help you rebuild your foundation with the gifts of our horses.

Photoshoot - $75: Reserve a horse of your choice for a photoshoot. You can provide your photographer or we can suggest one that is familiar with our Horse Angels. Price is per hour per horse

Horse Camp 2024

English Riding Horse Camp June 3-4, 2024 - $250 per person: This is a Horse Camp for the English Rider
Campers will learn basic English riding skills, horsemanship, horse care, and stable management, in addition to playing fun games and friendship. Intermediate and advanced riders in the English discipline will learn more about jumping, dressage, and cross-country jumping. This day camp will focus on riding in a fun, age-appropriate environment, taught by an instructor specializing in teaching younger riders. We will see you at the ranch!
Barrel Racing Horse Camp June 17-18, 2024 - $250 per person: This camp is for the rider who dreams about BARREL RACING! We will teach the fundamentals of horseback riding with a focus on the sport and techniques of a barrel racer. At the end of this 2-day session, we will have a playday for our horseback riding students. All horseback riding levels are welcome to attend! Intermediate and Advanced Riders will focus on technique and barrel racing drills.
Equine Essentials and Trail Rides Horse Camp July 8-9, 2024 - $250 per person: Make some amazing memories this summer learning about horses! This camp is perfect for the beginner who lives, breathes, and loves everything about horses! We will focus on the essentials including safety, equine handling on the ground, and of course, swinging a leg over for mounted activities including everyone's favorite TRAIL RIDES!!! Let's hit the trails and have some fun!
Trail Obstacle Horse Camp July 22-23, 2024 - $250 per person: This camp is a great way for riders to continue their journey with horses if they attended one of our previous camps earlier in the summer or a rider that has basic riding skills. This camp will focus on problem-solving skills on the ranch with fun obstacles and on the trail with natural obstacles. Problem solving is a great life skill and what better way to work on that skill with a horse as your partner! At the end of this camp, we will have a Trail Obstacle Competition that will be full of fun and allow our riders to show what they have learned at camp.
Rodeo Queen Horse Camp August 5-6, 2024 - $250 per person: This camp is for our horseback riders who dream about being the next Rodeo Queen in their local community or Miss Rodeo Texas. We will teach riders horsemanship on and off their horse, they will learn how to carry a flag on horseback, learn a horsemanship pattern, and learn knowledge about rodeo that Rodeo Queens are responsible for. At the end of this camp, we will do a practice Rodeo Queen competition to give them all a chance to do what they love and shine like the queen that they are!

Saddle Night 2024

Early Bird Special Nov 9th Saddle Night PERSONAL HORSE ONLY EVENT - $68 per person: Light up your night with a ride through BLORA's Nature in Lights on Horseback!! This will be a PERSONAL HORSE-ONLY EVENT! You can experience the magic of the holiday season from the comfort of your saddle and enjoy a night of great food, horseback riding and fellowship! We will have a barbeque dinner at 6 pm. Saddle up at 7 pm and there will be a Hot Cocoa Bar at the end of the ride.

2025 Glow Trot

Jan 12, 2025 Glow Trot - $65 per person: Glow into the new year on horseback with a ride through BLORA's Nature In Lights. This will be a PERSONAL HORSE ONLY EVENT. This will be a glow-in-the-dark-themed ride that will be a ton of fun! We invite those who have bikes or want to run the route with us with their sneakers too! We will send out bikes and sneakers first and the horses will leave shortly after. We will have a barbeque dinner at 5 pm and saddle up at 6 pm to hit the trail of lights!
